User reviews

Url Slideshow is praised for its fullscreen slideshow feature, allowing users to cycle through multiple URLs with customizable intervals, making it ideal for monitoring or low-memory devices like Raspberry Pi. However, multiple users report it loses settings after Chrome logout and back in, repeatedly adds URLs to history, and lacks batch URL import functionality. Recent browser updates have caused some automation features to stop working, requiring manual intervention. Overall, it is a simple and effective extension but could benefit from improved settings persistence and bulk URL input.
Pros
  • Supports fullscreen mode for displaying webpages.
  • Allows timed slideshow of multiple URLs with varied intervals.
  • Useful for monitoring multiple web pages or webcam views.
  • Simple and effective for rotating through URLs, even on low-memory devices.
  • Automatically starts and loads in fullscreen mode when Chrome opens.
Cons
  • Loses all settings including list of websites after logging out and back into Chrome.
  • Repetitively adds websites to browser history, cluttering history records.
  • Lacks ability to import or paste multiple URLs at once; requires entering URLs one by one.
  • Does not open browser or start slideshow automatically after recent browser updates.
Recent reviews
this needs updated. the most recent browser update has caused the extension to no longer open the browser on start, no longer fullscreens the window and instead of starting the slideshow the browser is prompting for user input to restore closed tabs.

Exactly what I was looking for. Switchtes between different pages in Fullscreen mode.

It is very inconvenient because I have to write each url one by one. I need the ability to paste many Internet addresses at once.
