OverPlay is a Chrome extension designed to enhance your YouTube viewing experience by enabling chat interaction while in fullscreen mode. It displays semi-transparent chat bubbles on screen, allowing you to read and write messages without interrupting your video playback. The message input area appears only when needed — either on hover or when typing — keeping the screen clutter-free.

The chat overlay is initially positioned on the left side but can be easily moved or resized using intuitive drag handles, giving you full control over its placement and size. The extension is having the same issue as in April where the chat overlay takes up the whole screen and cannot be resized or moved. When it was working, it would also be nice to have options to be able to change the font size and only show one column of comments. Sometimes comments double up when they are short enough to fit the width of the window.

Recent update to youtube I'm assuming broke this extension because now as soon as I go into fullscreen the chat overlay is across my entire screen maximized and I see the adjustment icon on the bottom right hand corner but it will not move / refuse to adjust just takes up my entire screen unfortunately and I know it was working just fine yesterday too. :/ Hope this can be fixed this was one of my favorite plugins for youtube used this all the time, please look into this ASAP when you get a chance. <3 I will update rating if so. :D Thanks for all your work already it is much appreciated, as youtube should already have this feature built-in honestly...
