Anu Twitch Chat Overlay lets you view Twitch chat on top of the stream player for both live streams and VODs without leaving fullscreen mode. You can read chat, send messages, and even automatically claim channel points seamlessly while watching.

Customize the overlay's position, font, background color, and size to your liking on a per-stream basis and sync your preferences across devices. The extension supports both Twitch dark and light themes by default. After installation, a Chat Overlay button appears on the Twitch video player's bottom right panel for easy toggling. It is now open source and open for collaborators.

Excellent extension that lets you see chat as an overlay. You can adjust the dimensions and transparency of the chatbox. Best part is that its standalone and doesn't require any other extension.
