Outline Sidebar

Outline Sidebar is an open-source Chrome extension that automatically generates a table of contents by extracting all the headings on any web page. It provides a convenient sidebar outlining the page structure, enabling users to quickly navigate to different sections by clicking the headings. This tool is especially useful for long or complex documents where quick access to different parts is needed.

To use, simply click the Outline button near your address bar to open the sidebar on the left. You can then click any heading in the outline to jump directly to that section. The sidebar can be closed by clicking the cross button at the bottom left. Since it's a WebExtension, it works on sites that permit content scripts and is fully open-source, with the project available on SourceForge.
