User Reviews

NoFollow is praised for its simplicity and usefulness in managing links and SEO. Reviewers repeatedly cite its ability to highlight nofollow links (often in red) and to help verify nofollow backlinks. It generally behaves as promised and is considered a reliable tool for everyday SEO checks. A minority reports minor issues, such as a rare UI quirk that can briefly interfere with tab closing and a settings persistence problem after browser restart, but these do not appear to be widespread. Overall, the extension is well-regarded, with an active, responsive author.

  • Easy to use and practical for managing links and SEO
  • Highlights nofollow (and dofollow) links visually

  • Works well and delivers as promised

Cons
Recent reviews
Was working well before but noticed my browser started lagging badly when this extension updated. Firefox task manager shows this extension was using 100% cpu always. Fixed itself after disabling this extension and to confirm this was the cause, it happens again after re-enabling it. Hopefully its due to a coding bug and not something malicious.

A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

NoFollow requires some sensitive permissions that could impact your browser and data security. Exercise caution before installing.
