Yaba Sanshiro 2 is a Sega Saturn emulator for Android that implements Saturn hardware in software so you can play Sega Saturn titles on mobile devices. Key features include higher-resolution polygons via OpenGL ES 3.0, extended internal backup memory (up to 8MB), save states, and the ability to copy backup and state data to private cloud storage for use across devices. For copyright reasons the emulator does not include BIOS files or game images. To play your own games create an ISO from the CD and copy it to /sdcard/yabause/games/ (or on Android 10+ to /sdcard/Android/data/org.devmiyax.yabasanshioro2.pro/files/yabause/games/). Scoped Storage and the Storage Access Framework are used for loading games on newer Android versions. Yaba Sanshiro is open source (GPL) and based on yabause — source code and detailed how-to and policy pages are available on the official site and GitHub.
