User Reviews

Users praise the app for being fun and creatively engaging, enabling kids to build and share games and videos. However, multiple reviews highlight a heavy paywall and subscription model, data-loss when reinstalling, login issues, and occasional loading/offline problems. The core trade-off is engaging, creative content versus costly access and reliability challenges.
Pros
  • Fun and engaging for kids
  • Allows creation and sharing of content (codespark videos)
  • Strong creative freedom and variety of projects
  • Positive for creators using it with YouTube or school projects
Cons
  • Paywall/subscription and cost, not free
  • Data loss on reinstall and saving/sharing requires account paperwork
  • Sign-in/login issues (password/email problems)
  • Reliability issues like loading/offline errors and occasional outages

installed on kids tablet. impossible to find account to cancel subscription. continues to charge $80 every year with zero communication. I don't even remember which email I signed up for the trial with. everytime I try to retrieve my account they don't say whether that email is even registered and I just end up inadvertently signing up again. will not show up in you Google play account as a subscription. BEWARE.
