Threads of Comfort is an original offline companion for adult volunteers connected with Analane's Angel Apparel. Its tactile fabric-atelier interface follows a stitched five-stage ribbon—Receive, Prepare, Craft, Review, and Pack—while keeping optional planning entries in private app storage on the device.

RECEIVE WITH PRIVACY
Use a deliberately limited anonymous intake page to note only a broad color family, material group, condition, and preparation stage. The app does not ask for donor identity, family or infant information, pregnancy or loss history, diagnoses, hospital records, photographs, or private stories.

PREPARE THE WORKSHOP
Keep rough local counts for reusable fabric, lace, ribbon, thread, closures, packaging, and spare tools. Shape an adult craft-night plan with stations, roles, work blocks, breaks, accessibility, quiet space, tool stewardship, and cleanup.
CRAFT WITH CLEAR BOUNDARIES
Review original general stitch-practice reminders without copied proprietary patterns, measurements, templates, or cut lines. Prepare an adult-controlled bracelet station with lidded small-parts trays, restricted access, needle and cutter counts, damaged-part removal, and a second loose-part check.

REVIEW WITH CARE
Work through seam, fastener, cleanliness, fragrance, soft-surface, loose-part, current-instruction, and independent second-adult checks. Explore compassionate-language cards about listening, consent, privacy, avoiding comparisons, and never promising an emotional outcome.

PACK AND CONTACT FIRST
Prepare clean, anonymous packaging and protected transport. The Angel Drop Planner reminds users to contact the receiving organization or facility before travel, confirm current permission and handoff instructions, avoid restricted areas, and return an unaccepted parcel to the volunteer coordinator.

Choose an optional service focus, write a brief note about your own volunteer practice, prepare a non-sensitive contact question, review app safety limits, export a user-controlled local summary, read the complete privacy policy offline, or erase all local entries.
