I do like Alliant overall. It's easy to use & convenient for what I wanted it for! I had 1 issue w/my debit card (which can happen at ANY bank), HOWEVER it was actually extremely easy to reach a real person & the issue was resolved to my satisfaction. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because of how long it takes to transfer funds to another bank & no Zelle option. If those were resolved it'd be an easy 5 stars!

Came back to Alliant after many years away, banking with other institutions. Really enjoying the experience but I gotta know - how is it that a bank that is entirely online has such an antiquated notification system when the end user is required to bank primarily using an app?? Only email notifications (that are frequently delayed by hours) and no text messages unless they're fraud alerts? NO REAL-TIME PUSH NOTIFICATIONS?!?! WHAT???? C'mon guys, this tech has been available for 15 years

They practice predatory lending and will likely set you up a loan without explaining certain details. In fact, it took us 7+ phone calls, across multiple hours, to finally get out of them that the first four years of payments was going ENTIRELY to interest; ZERO of the contractual payment was being applied to the principle. Please, do NOT do business with this company. You have been warned.
