Open Tabs Next To Current

This Chrome extension ensures new tabs open directly to the right of your current tab, improving tab management and workflow efficiency. Unlike the default behavior where tabs open at the end of the tab bar, this extension positions new tabs next to the active one, reducing tab clutter and helping users keep related tabs grouped.

Note: Some limitations exist due to webextension API constraints, such as visible tab movements and behavior when opening multiple tabs simultaneously. For Firefox users, adjusting the browser.tabs.tabMinWidth setting can improve usability by preventing unwanted tab scrolling. The extension is no longer necessary for browsers supporting the native browser.tabs.insertAfterCurrent setting. Users are encouraged to report bugs or contribute on the project's GitHub repository.

It recently started to sometimes open one tab away instead of right next to. Don’t know why. Wish browsers could have this feature vanilla, don’t know why they don’t… Happy we have modders to do that, thanks !
