Heiko Engelke, 2021-11-01This is an unofficial Extension which hasn't been updated in 2.5years -- unsurprisingly it's broken.
The official DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials Extension includes search search from new tab functionality, is open source and regularly updated. This one is closed source and doesn't work.
