gTalk Syntax Highlighting is a Chrome extension that automatically detects code typed in Google Chat and adds syntax highlighting. It supports inline code blocks, detects code presence, and provides a manual control. It also has options to attach your own machine-learning server and supports gTalk with 'Pictures in chat' disabled.
