Syntax Highlight Code Blocks

Adds a context menu that provides the ability to add syntax hightlighting to code blocks contained in the page.

The Syntax Highlight Code Blocks Chrome extension empowers developers and coders by adding syntax highlighting to code snippets on any webpage. Many websites display code inside simple pre > code blocks without color differentiation, making it harder to quickly decipher code structure and syntax. This extension solves that by injecting highlight.js styles to those blocks upon user activation via the context menu.

Key features include support for multiline pre tags without code blocks, compatibility with code snippets from msdn.microsoft.com magazines and libraries, and simple activation via right-click context menu. It seamlessly enhances code readability on blogs and documentation sites that lack built-in highlighting, turning plain text code into color-coded, easy-to-scan segments. Perfect for developers, students, or anyone reading technical content online.

High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

Syntax Highlight Code Blocks does not require any sensitive permissions.
