User Reviews
Pros
- Essential security extension for Firefox; widely considered indispensable.
- Granular, per-site control over scripts and permissions.
- Improves browsing security and privacy when configured properly.
Cons
- Mobile gesture feature causes scrolling/navigation issues and cannot (or is difficult to) disable in updates.
- High complexity and learning curve; default settings can break websites, requiring technical knowledge to configure.
- Frequent UI/UX changes and gesture-related bugs can cause accidental activations or browsing interruptions.
- Gesture-related issues lead to debugging friction and can make the extension less usable for some users.

Fantastic for keeping data-scraping scripts away from my personal info or history.
However, as of June 1st, the add-on will only update the script list once per refresh hit, and I have to click off the icon in order to process more scripts to get a certain page "unbroken".
Very annoying, hence why this is only a 4-star (even barely! I give this add-on a 3.5 in reality) review.
Fix this issue, and the rest of the problems I encounter will again be someone else's problem.

Stops unknown scripts from running until your approval. But a lot of websites will break without third-party scripts, and for now you simply must guess your own until it works. Interface cuts off long domain-names.

Is NoScript Security Suite Safe?
Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.
NoScript Security Suite requires a lot of sensitive permissions. Exercise caution before installing.
