VaktFlyt is the shift-scheduling and workforce app for Norwegian businesses. Plan shifts, report absences and swap shifts directly from your phone — without paper forms, without waiting for your manager.

Who it's for

VaktFlyt is built for small and medium employers in healthcare, hospitality (HoReCa) and retail — typically 10 to 500 employees. The mobile app is the companion to VaktFlyt's web platform, and you log in with the same company account.

What you can do

• View your schedule in month, week and list view
• Get notified when a new schedule is published or your shift changes
• Request a shift swap, sale or handover to a colleague
• Accept or decline shift requests from your manager
• Report absences with document attachments (self-cert, sick leave, vacation, leave of absence)
• Track working hours with clock in / clock out
• Approve timesheets and absences (for managers and safety reps)
• See real-time totals of vacation days, time-off-in-lieu and overtime

Built for Norwegian working life

VaktFlyt continuously evaluates your schedule against Chapter 10 of the Working Environment Act — daily rest (§10-8), weekly rest, Sunday rotation (§10-10), break entitlement (§10-9) and overtime limits (§10-6). The app warns both employee and manager before an illegal shift can be entered, and can be configured to follow your company's collective agreement.

Privacy and security

All data is stored in the EU/EEA and processed under GDPR. No medical diagnoses are stored — only absence type. You can request export or deletion of your data at any time directly from the app. Sign-in supports biometrics (fingerprint, face recognition) and two-factor authentication.
