What is Stay Focused?

Stay Focused is a Chrome extension that helps users block time-wasting sites like social media. It uses three blocking methods - by website, by word, and by regex. Websites can be grouped for collective blocking, e.g., social media, videos. Fun images are used to push users back to work. Also, it allows setting up working hours for website blocking and offers a lock mechanism to avoid immediate tool disabling. The lock mechanism works in three ways - password lock, unlock by answering questions, and repetitive button-clicking.

So close to being a perfect 5 stars!! The permissions are perfect (only history is required vs. *change all data on all sites*) Unfortunately though, after opening the extension for the first time, I clicked "Add" and now it says "Website: chromewebstore.google.com Already Added" with no option to remove... In the settings there was ways to enable and disable groups of sites but I couldn't unblock the Chrome web store :( One last thing that would be very helpful is sometimes I've Googled for something, found what I needed, then clicked the link only for it to show me the "focus now!" screen. Would be awesome if I could unlock it temporarily and for it to redirect that page back to where I was trying to go vs. backtracking to find the right link.

A funny and neat way to max out your productivity. The memes are funny and you can add websites by yourself too. The downside is when you accidently add a website you can´t remove it. You need to uninstall the extension in order to make the website work proper again. I like the extension a lot. Very underrated.
