Books, books and more books. The BoekWijzer app is the app with all titles available in the Netherlands in pocket size. BoekWijzer brings rich literary information, together with the option of ordering books directly, within reach of your smartphone and tablet. The app provides access to the entire catalog of literature available in the Netherlands. You will also find the most recent news here from sources such as Literair Nederland and Boekenkrant. And on the BoekWijzer blog you can read interesting literary blog articles.

The app contains no fewer than 630,000 (+/-) book descriptions. With so much content, it can quickly become confusing for the user. To make the BoekWijzer app as user-friendly and easy as possible, we have chosen to make a selection in the form of book lists. These lists were created using information from national booksellers. The user is shown an overview of the 'best-selling', 'best-rated' and 'newest' books from the web shops. This way you will be up to date with what is happening in the literary world in no time.

If you tap an item from one of the lists, you will get more information about the title. In addition, you can search in the entire Dutch literature catalogue. The search options have been improved and expanded. This means you can search for your favorite authors or titles in just a few seconds, wherever you are. And even more: the number of titles of a selected author shown has been increased in this update, so that you don't miss a book from the oeuvre of your favorite author.

Ordering books can also be done easily and directly from the app. At the request of users, Libris has been added to the 'Order' option. So you can now order books easily and quickly from both your local bookstore and Bol.com.

In short, BoekWijzer is the 'app to have' for every literature lover.
