What is Simple?

"Simple" is a free and open-source code editor designed as a Chrome extension. This lightweight editor encourages you to focus on your coding, without having to worry about complex settings. It uses intuitive keyboard shortcuts and an automatic tab indentation system. What sets Simple apart is the fixed indentation setup (defaulting to 4 spaces). A back-to-basics libre code editor.

The keyboard shortcuts are what you would expect. Default indentation is 4 spaces (this is not configurable), however for Makefiles the indentation will switch to real tabs.

Simple also has autosave and autocomplete enabled. Simple uses the incredible IBM Plex Mono as its font.
