What is Scripture Search Box?

'Scripture Search Box' is a Chrome extension that facilitates easy searching of the scriptures from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Simply enter a scripture reference or a topic in the extension's search box and it presents the search results in a new tab. It supports search in English and Spanish for the King James Version of the Bible, The Book of Mormon, Doctrine & Covenants, and The Pearl of Great Price. In Portuguese, it searches The Book of Mormon, Doctrine & Covenants, and The Pearl of Great Price only.

You can enter a scripture reference, such as John 3:16, or a topic, such as love, into the search box and the extension will open the search results in a new tab.

This version will search the King James Version of the Bible, including the Old Testament and New Testament, The Book of Mormon, Doctrine & Covenants, and The Pearl of Great Price in English or Spanish. In Portuguese the extension will only search The Book of Mormon, Doctrine & Covenants, and The Pearl of Great Price, as those are the only scriptures available on scriptures.lds.org in the language.
