SmallBASIC es un intérprete de lenguaje de programación BASIC rápido y fácil de aprender, ideal para cálculos cotidianos, scripts y prototipos. SmallBASIC incluye funciones trigonométricas, matriciales y algebraicas, una potente biblioteca de cadenas, comandos de sistema y gráficos, además de sintaxis de programación estructurada.

NOTA: Este no es "Small Basic" de Microsoft. Se trata de SmallBASIC de código abierto con licencia GPL versión 3, creado originalmente para Palm Pilot y posteriormente adaptado a los dispositivos Franklin eBookman y Nokia 770.

Algunas de las características de SmallBASIC son:

- SmallBASIC es un lenguaje BASIC multiplataforma: Actualmente, es compatible con Linux, Windows y Android.

- El lenguaje es bastante compacto: el instalador de Debian para Linux, por ejemplo, viene en un único archivo de 340 kb.

- SmallBASIC incluye un conjunto muy completo de funciones matemáticas.

- Es un lenguaje interpretado que no requiere compilación.

SmallBASIC admite programación estructurada, estructuras definidas por el usuario y archivos fuente modularizados. Sin embargo, no está orientado a objetos.

También ofrece mucha flexibilidad en cuanto a sintaxis: existen alternativas para muchos comandos y sinónimos para muchas construcciones.

SmallBASIC incluye su propio IDE.

Works as intended.Some suggestions: 1)Please make the auto-save feature optional, 2) matrix-size and transpose commands would be useful,3) Ability to save the current graph for subsequent recall very much a necessary feature to implement for improvement.
