Andrew Braybrook 氏のクラシックな C64 ゲーム「Paradroid」のフリーソフトウェア (GPL) リメイク版です。

プレイヤーはいわゆる「001 影響装置」を操作し、貨物船からロボットを撃ち落とすか、制御権を奪取することでロボットを排除しなければなりません。制御権奪取は、10 秒以内に対戦相手よりも多くの電気配線を接続するという、小規模なロジックサブゲームで行われます。

Freedroid (Classic) は、Johannes Prix、Reinhard Prix、Bastian Salmela によって開発されました (当初は DOS 用、その後 Linux と Windows 向けに開発され、現在は Android に移植されています)。追加のテーマは Lanzz と Andreas Wedemeyer によって提供されています。

Freedroid is a faithful and well-made port of the classic Paradroid game for Android, highly appreciated for its nostalgic value and authentic feel.
