The app simply directs you to BikeRoll's website, so having it installed on your phone just needlessly eats up memory. The site is pretty good though, I like that it gives me elevation changes along the entire route. It could be a little more intuitive/descriptive with the elevation preferences. There are sliders for green, blue, yellow, and red but no indication what those sliders do or what the colors represent. (Maybe difficulty level?) Overall I'm excited to plan a route and go for a ride.

Fantastic for planning routes! Love the profile for road biking to control how steep things get, and will use it for a big mtb ride tomorrow, it planned the correct route i was aiming for almost all by itself. Now i have a profile and geolocalisation. A big THANK YOU botond!
Just opens the website
Love the idea. Couple of problems with it. I can never center it on my location. The map doesn't show the "center to my location" circle thing that you usually can see on Google maps. Red concentric circles do show up at my location, so the map knows where I am but it always starts out over Hungary :) (I'm in the very hilly Lisbon using eScooter). Also, I tried inputing my address and my destination into the top search bars and press the magnifying glass, but nothing ever happens.
The app doesn't open, direct me to web page
I like how fast it makes the routes, so it is great for quick route checking / planning. But I have three issues with it: 1. It is not an app, it just opens a browser. It tells you to right click on the map, but how do you right click on the Android device? There are no instructions for Android. You have to press and hold, but not on an icon, and not on the route that is already made, just on an empty road. 2. Probably because it is in a browser, it takes around 15-20 second s to refresh GPS location. Google maps takes around 1-2 seconds. 3. If you go through a tunnel the altitude graph shows as if you were going to straight on top of the mountain. It does not take the tunnel into consideration. I had a route a few days ago that said 100km with 7000m of altitude change when in reality there were 16 tunnels and maybe 2000m change.
I'll be using this.
