Temantak teaches fast ⚡ mental arithmetic on a Japanese bead abacus, the soroban, and then helps you carry that skill into your head.

The centre of the app 📱 is a realistic touch-controlled frame. Each rod holds one upper heaven bead worth five and four lower earth beads worth one. You move beads toward and away from the reckoning bar to form numbers 🔢, and the app reads the bead positions continuously and shows the value in real time ⏱️. There is no submit button. When the frame matches the target 🎯, the answer confirms itself.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

- Work a full interactive soroban with your fingers, not a calculator 🧮 keypad 🎛️.
- Follow structured lessons: how the frame is organised, forming digits, direct addition and subtraction, the 5-complement Small Friend method, the 10-complement Big Friend method, carrying and borrowing across rods, combined complements and two-digit work.
- Practise with progressive drill packs, from Foundations through Small Friends, Big Friends, Columns and a final Speed ⚡ tier, each unlocking as your accuracy improves.
- Train under a visible timer and finish with a result screen showing time ⏱️, accuracy, solved problems and personal bests.
- Follow long-term records: best times, best accuracy, attempts, streaks and progress 📈 by tier.
- Move to mental calculation with Flash mode, where number 🔢 sequences appear briefly and you add them up while picturing the frame.

HOW IT WORKS

Five areas hold the app 📱: Frame for interactive practice 🏋️, Techniques for the lessons, drills for structured training, Records for your history ⏳, and settings. Every technique comes with a short explanation, ordered steps, a worked example and a link straight into the matching drill, so theory turns into practice immediately.

Everything runs offline 📴 and problems are generated on the device 📱.
