WHAT IT CLEANS
• Photos (JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, AVIF) — strips EXIF, GPS coordinates, camera serial numbers, XMP packets, IPTC/Photoshop records, and the C2PA Content Credentials that mark an image as AI-generated. Lossless: your pixels are untouched — HEIC included, the format most phones shoot by default.
• Videos (MP4, MOV) — removes location, recording timestamps, device tags, and embedded C2PA manifests, without re-encoding.
• Audio (MP3, WAV, M4A) — removes ID3 tags, artist and album names, embedded album art, and recording info. Your audio is never re-encoded.
• PDFs — removes the author, title, producer and XMP metadata blocks.
• Text — removes invisible "AI watermark" characters (zero-width spaces and similar) and normalizes the punctuation that often gives AI text away — while leaving emoji, flags, and Arabic, Persian and Indic scripts intact.

Every file is scanned first and you see exactly what it carries — GPS, camera make and model, XMP, IPTC, ID3 tags, album art — before anything is removed. The read-only Photo Metadata Viewer shows the full EXIF, GPS and C2PA inside any image, for up to 10 photos at a time.
