The new Facebook UI introduced in early 2020 allows for light and dark modes. However, it does not allow for a third option of system/OS preference. This enables your system to dictate dark mode for Facebook automatically. Tested on Mac OS Catalina

Also works with MS Edge Chromium on Windows. Had a pleasant back and forth with the developer trying to troubleshoot when it didn't work initially. In order for it to function, Edge must follow the "system default" light/dark mode. Edge > Settings > Default Theme > "System default"

Thanks so much. It works great, and I looked into the source code and it's clean and simple. Tested it on Windows 10 and Chrome.

OMG, IT ACTUALLY WORKS! I've been finding ways to enable automatic light/dark mode in websites, and now, I've found one. I hope you'll also make ones for Twitter, Reddit, and (if possible) Messenger.
