SANS - Stop Annoying News

Removes news stories from annoying web sources (i.e. huffingtonpost.com) or topics you don't wish to see on Bing or Google News.

SANS (Stop Annoying News) is a Chrome extension designed to enhance your online news experience by filtering out news stories from sources or topics you find annoying. Compatible exclusively with Google and Bing News, SANS allows you to block domains (like huffingtonpost.com) or keyword topics (such as "Kardashian" or "Alec Baldwin") that you prefer not to see in your news feed.

With user-friendly features like fading or completely removing undesired stories, quick addition of sites or keywords to your blocklist, and temporary 48-hour keyword blocking via a right-click context menu, SANS gives you full control over your news intake. The extension regularly updates to support changes in Google and Bing News layouts and also offers backup and restore functionality for your blocklist to keep your preferences intact. Ideal for anyone wanting a personalized, clutter-free news feed free from sensational or distracting topics.
