What is Good News?

"Good News" is a distinctive Chrome extension that allows users to filter out undesired news stories from their Google News feed. Users can personalize their news feed through the addition of specific keywords and phrases that, when detected, result in the relevant headlines or leads being hidden. The application also offers a feature to restore the blocked stories, by either eliminating the patterns or clicking the "show" link. Additional features include faster processing, notification hiding, compatibility with new layouts, a "Silent Mode", as well as a global application extent.
