RSO

RSO - Regional Warning System is a free mobile application developed in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Polish Television. It serves as part of a comprehensive public safety service providing real-time alerts and warnings about various threats across Poland's voivodeships. The app receives messages from Regional Crisis Management Centers (WCZK), including general notifications, meteorological, hydrological, road alerts, and water status updates.

Users can customize message types and regions, enabling focused notifications relevant to their location. The app also supports geolocation-based alerts, providing timely and location-specific warnings. Additionally, RSO includes an extensive, regularly updated library of crisis management guides to educate users on recommended behaviors during emergencies.

The RSO app integrates multiple information channels, including websites, teletext, terrestrial DVB TV signals, and Internet Smart TV HbbTV, ensuring comprehensive and accessible communication of regional threats. It empowers users with knowledge and warnings to enhance personal and community safety across Poland.
