HRO! is a free warning and emergency app specifically designed for the Hanseatic and University city of Rostock. It delivers current information, emergency alerts, and warnings directly to your smartphone, with optional push notifications for immediate updates.

Built on the nationwide BIWAPP emergency app, HRO! integrates official announcements from the modular warning system (MoWaS), the German Weather Service, and local authorities. Users can customize the topics they want to be informed about, ensuring relevant and timely notifications from the Rostock city council and its partners. Note that while HRO! provides valuable alerts, it does not replace the instructions of emergency services at the scene.
