Worked for me! Once I installed the new version (https://gmaps2gpx.com/update) it did work fine. The instructions didn't exactly follow what I saw on my Mac but it was easy to figure out.

Ha funzionato per 2 giorni e poi ha smesso di funzionare sarebbe stata da 4 stelle anche nella versione free, ma adesso è solo una perchè 0 non si può. NON FUNZIONA si apre il popup della scelta della destinazione e del punto di partenza ma poi niente più. Speravo in una mia mancanza di conoscenza ma, purtroppo, non è così!
