Features & Capabilities

Noir turns your phone or tablet into a high-quality USB camera viewer and portable HDMI display. It supports UVC and UAC devices (camera, endoscope, microscope, drone, etc.) and requires a USB-C capture card (not a hub or simple USB-C-to-HDMI cable). Choose OpenGL ES or Vulkan as the graphics backend for smooth rendering and low-latency preview. Noir works for gaming consoles, PCs, laptops and any HDMI-output device (HDCP restrictions may apply to some consoles).

The free version provides basic viewing and an immersive preview (ad-supported). The Pro upgrade removes ads and adds pro-monitoring tools: 3D LUTs, waveform monitor, histogram, edge detection, false color, zebra, color separation, CRT filters, FSR 1.0, pinch-to-zoom, stretch & crop, anamorphic lens support, brightness/contrast/saturation controls, PiP, in-app screenshots and app-specific volume. Does what it says,good enough

I was using it with my raspberry pi 5 and it removes all the lag that I was experiencing with other USB Cam apps!! Thanks a Lot. But there is no built in screen recording option, which should be there. Hopefully in future uodates you'll add that!!
