USB Camera lets your Android device connect to UVC webcams and HDMI capture cards (EasyCap, Elgato-like cards) via USB‑OTG to record, snapshot, broadcast and act as an IP camera. It supports RTSP/HTTP server streaming, RTMP/SRT push to live servers (including RTMPS), HEVC/AV1 where supported, PIP and Side‑by‑Side (SBS) FPV view, and multi‑server streaming. The app can mix USB audio with built‑in or Bluetooth audio, overlay timestamps/GPS/speed on video, and supports loop recording with auto‑segment and archive deletion.

Use cases include live broadcasting, security monitoring (motion detection + FTP/email upload), dash cam recording, and FPV goggles. The Pro version removes ads and adds advanced settings. Note: HEVC requires Android 5.0+ and device codec support; AV1 requires Android 10+. A quality OTG cable and proper power for capture devices are recommended, and Android 9+ requires Camera permission for full USB video access.

Absolutely THE BEST external cam app! Tried over 8 other apps. This saved my project (using an overhead external webcam to cast a live pinball machine feed). Hands down the smoothest and most quality fees. Additonally, nearly any setting you can think of is in this app. The free version is decent. But paid completely removed any ADS and seemed to have even better controls. Well worth the $5 instead of $20 plus that you pay elsewhere, for far less.

I bought the pro version for my low end Samsung tablet. It works well. The only problem I've seen is that when I there is no audio on finished recordings. It's strange because the audio is just fine while recording. Definitely 5 stars if this gets resolved.
