Actually in reading mode, when I point on text twice, mode changes to edit.// 8/24 Edit: Thanks for your description! Then I hope double tap change mode can be a configuration, let the user decide if needed.

2026-08-24	Ky*****	Obsidian seems to be the one note-taking app that suits my workflow; however, the mobile app is really unpleasant to use. It's somewhat laggy, and transitions don't feel smooth. Overall, the app feels like a web app turned mobile app. I really wish Obsidian would release a native Android app that actually feels polished.

2026-08-23	Us*****	I like Obsidian for desktop, but the mobile version defaults to editing view even though I have it set to reading view as default in settings. UPDATE The issue has been fixed. Thanks.
