HOW IT WORKS

  1. Navigate to any article page (blog post, news article, documentation)
  2. Click the Magzdown Clipper icon in your toolbar
  3. Preview the article title, source, word count, and excerpt
  4. Click "Clip to Magzdown" to save it to your library

The article opens in Magzdown with beautiful, magazine-style typography — ready to read, highlight, and annotate.

WHAT IS MAGZDOWN? Magzdown is a privacy-first markdown reader that turns content into immersive, magazine-style reading. Eight typographic presets modeled on real magazine genres (from The New Yorker-style literary serif to news-weekly and fashion-glossy styles), 48 color themes, drop caps, decks, margin notes, and a scroll, two-column, or paginated layout. Highlight and annotate for free. Everything stays in your browser — no data leaves your device.

Magzdown is also available as an official Obsidian community plugin.
