Web Content MD Clipper Firefox

Web Content MD Clipper

Pick any element on a page and copy it to your clipboard as Markdown

Features & Capabilities

Markdown Web Clipper lets you grab any element from a webpage and copy it as clean Markdown, ready to paste into notes, docs, chat, or anywhere that supports Markdown.

Just click the extension icon (or use a keyboard shortcut) to activate the picker. Hover over any element on the page and click to copy it. Tables, headings, lists, code blocks, and links all convert cleanly.

Need more than one element? Hold ⌘ and click to select multiple elements, then press ⌘C to copy them all at once. Use the arrow keys to navigate up to parent elements or back down, so you always grab exactly what you want.

Why install Markdown Web Clipper?

• Copy content as Markdown in one click — no manual formatting • Tables convert to proper Markdown tables, not messy plaintext • Multi-select lets you grab several elements from a page in one go • Arrow key navigation to pick parent or child elements precisely • Works on any webpage — articles, docs, wikis, forums, dashboards • Paste straight into ChatGPT, Notion, Obsidian, GitHub, Slack, or any Markdown editor • Lightweight — no accounts, no tracking, no data collection • Fully open source
