how to i hear text without selecting it

I really like the no selection feature. But here is a suggestion: allow to select "read to the end" (so you just select the starting point of reading). My problem is that it easily get stuck in a funny state so that it simply does not read (e.g., on my Chrome, it does not read no matter what I did). Then I install it on my Brave Browser. It worked, but then it got into a funny state that I could not stop it. So I restart the browser, and now it cannot speak anymore. Please make it more robust, and I would really like it.
