Inject Jyutping

Inject Jyutping

Add Cantonese pronunciation (Jyutping) on Chinese characters.

What is Inject Jyutping?
Inject Jyutping is a free and open-source Chrome extension. It automatically annotates Chinese characters found on web pages with their corresponding Jyutping - a romanization for Cantonese. This tool uses pronunciation data sourced from rime-cantonese and it's an innovative way to learn Cantonese while browsing the internet. However, due to a 2021 Google Doc update to canvas-based rendering, the extension can no longer access or annotate text within those documents.

Note: Since 2021, Google Doc has changed to canvas-based rendering, meaning this extension can no longer access the text data within Google Doc, therefore unable to annotate Jyutping to the characters in Google Docs any more. There is nothing we can do about it. More details in: https://workspaceupdates.googleblog.com/2021/05/Google-Docs-Canvas-Based-Rendering-Update.html

Great extension. The only thing I would ask is that the font can be customisable to be bigger font as curently it's quite small to read,
