kTab Manager Firefox

kTab Manager

Keyboard-first tab manager. Instantly search, navigate and switch between all your open tabs, grouped by domain or window. Open with Option+T, type to search, arrow to navigate, Enter to select. Privacy-conscious, minimal permissions, fully local.

Features & Capabilities

kTab Manager shows all your windows and tabs in a clean, color-coded view. While it works perfectly with the mouse, its core feature is keyboard-first navigation: hit Option+T (Mac) or Alt+Shift+T (Windows), type a few letters of a domain or tab title, arrow down, and you're there. All without leaving the keyboard.

Other cool features

  • Group tabs by domain (all YouTube tabs together, all GitHub tabs together, all Claude conversations... ) or by browser window. Ttry the domain view, it's a game changer!
  • Mute / unmute tabs individually or all at once with a single click (really useful when Firefox restores windows!)
  • Close all duplicate tabs in one click, keeping one per URL
  • Popularity-based grouping : popularity-based tab sorting. Frequently used tabs gradually move to the top of the list. Toggle via the new "Sort by most used tabs" button; default sorting remains available by clicking again to return to the default order.
Privacy kTab Manager only requests the tabs permission. It makes no external connections and collects no data whatsoever. Source code available on GitHub.
