RipTape: Cutout Letter Collage

Rip it. Tape it.

RipTape turns your photos into torn paper. Trace a letter with your finger,
and it tears out of the photo — rough edges, background and all. That's not a
bug, that's the whole point: the scrap of sky or wallpaper that comes along
is what makes it look like something you cut out of a magazine.

It's the ransom-note look, the junk journal look, the zine look — made from
your own photos instead of someone else's magazine.

HOW IT WORKS

1. RIP — Open a photo and draw around anything: a letter on a sign, a leaf,
a piece of light. It tears out along the line your finger drew.
2. COLLECT — Every scrap lands in your collection. Letters are grouped by
character; free-form pieces can be tagged so you can find them later.
3. TAPE — In Studio, choose a background, lay your scraps down, move, rotate,
flip and stack them, and export a collage sized for social.

WHAT'S INSIDE

• Tear letters or any shape — your finger draws the line
• A collection that stacks duplicates like a real pile of paper
• Phrase builder: line letters up into a word, then use it as one piece
• Backgrounds: solid colors, paper textures, printed patterns, or your photo
• Export at 1:1, 4:5 or 9:16 — the sizes social apps actually want
• Backup and restore everything to a single file you keep

NO ACCOUNT, NO SERVER, NO ADS

There is no sign-up, no login, and no cloud. Your photos and scraps never
leave your phone — there is nowhere for them to go. Nothing is collected,
nothing is tracked, and there are no ads.
