ROLL15: Vintage Video Camera

Keep the little moments you want to play again.

ROLL15 is a vintage video camera with a silver camcorder deck, a large LCD and a cassette-inspired interface. Record everyday scenes as short Rolls, replay them inside the camera and bring them together as a Tape.

Your pocket camcorder
Capture a walk, a trip or an ordinary afternoon with a retro camcorder look. Reels move during recording, while responsive buttons add haptic feedback on supported devices.

Replay on the LCD
Watch a Roll inside the same camcorder. Pause, scrub through the recording and revisit the moment you want to keep. Finished Tapes can also be played from the Tape library.

Make each Roll yours
Trim the start and end, choose SOUND ON or OFF and arrange Rolls in the order you want. Frame thumbnails help you find each scene. Undo your most recent edit when you change your mind.

Bring your videos along
Choose a video with Android's system media picker and import the section you want. Zoom the selection timeline for finer adjustments. Use FILL to crop around your subject or FIT to keep the whole frame, including portrait videos. Continue from the previous OUT point to select another section.

Finish a Tape
Join your Rolls into a finished video and save it to Movies/ROLL15 on your phone. Replay the Tape in the app or open your phone's gallery to watch and share it. Each Tape uses one camcorder look.

Good to know
• A Roll can be any length from 0.5 to 15 seconds. Choose when to stop or set your own import boundaries.
• With SOUND ON, camera Rolls record microphone audio and imported Rolls retain available source audio.
• SOUND OFF creates a silent Roll. It does not add music or change the sound.
• Camera and microphone permissions are requested when those features are used.
• Imported videos are selected through Android's system picker.
