Use piper, or other.... want something free... use the elevenlabs reader app on mobile (it doesn't use your API key...) this i don't see the value in the app i am giving it a 1 star because you didn't figure out an option for free tts....
For some reason, it doesn't work on certain sites. For example, when I try to get it to read any section of this article (https://darioamodei.com/machines-of-loving-grace), the play button just spins forever.
Also, the built-in keyboard shortcut to get it to read selected text is 'Ctrl-h', which is ALSO the History shortcut in Chrome. Why would they choose a shortcut that is already in use for the very browser this extension is made for?
Poorly planned, and buggy.
