IDN Safe

IDN Safe is a Chrome extension designed to protect users from phishing and spoofing attacks by blocking internationalized domain names (IDNs), also known as punycode domains. These domains use Unicode characters which can visually resemble legitimate URLs, potentially tricking users into visiting fake or malicious sites.

With IDN Safe, you can safeguard your browsing experience by automatically blocking suspicious IDN domains. The extension offers flexible options to temporarily allow or whitelist certain domains as needed. By default, all punycode domains are blocked to enhance online safety. Users can submit feature requests and contribute via the project's GitHub repository.
