Speedcoach — Road Safety

Speedcoach warns you about speed cameras before you reach them.

Mount your phone, start driving, and Speedcoach does the rest. It shows your live
GPS speed against the limit for the road you are on, and gives you an audio and
vibration warning as you approach a camera — long before you can see it.

It keeps working when your screen is off and when you switch to music or maps.

BUILT FOR KENYAN ROADS

Speedcoach covers Nairobi corridors first — Thika Superhighway, Mombasa Road,
Waiyaki Way, Outer Ring, Ngong Road — and expands as drivers confirm more cameras.

Camera locations come from open map data and from drivers like you. Cameras that
have not been confirmed on the road are clearly marked UNVERIFIED in the app, so
you always know how much to trust an alert. Tap once to report a camera that is not
there, and it will not count against your free alerts.

FREE AND PRO

Free includes live speed, live limits, unlimited overspeed warnings, trip history,
and 50 camera alerts a month.

Pro removes the camera alert limit. KES 199 a month or KES 1,499 a year, billed
securely through Google Play — pay with M-Pesa or card. Cancel any time in your
Google Play subscriptions.

A WORD ON SAFETY

Speedcoach is a driving aid, not a substitute for paying attention. Camera data is
community-verified and may be incomplete or out of date. Always observe posted speed
limits and road conditions. Do not interact with your phone while driving.

PRIVACY

Your location is processed on your phone. Individual GPS positions are never
uploaded to our servers — only a summary of each trip, so you can see your history.
We do not sell your location data. Ever.
