User Reviews

User reviews generally praise the app for accurate speed-camera detection and practical usefulness. However, notable downsides include a costly subscription with limited camera coverage, intrusive ads and bugs, regional availability issues (Germany/server restrictions), and inconsistent accuracy/updates. The core feature—camera detection—is widely valued, but value for money, reliability, and accessibility are the main pain points.

Pros

Accurate detection and precise location of speed cameras
Helpful for driving safety, including detection of security cameras
Strong overall usefulness and practical performance (described as excellent, very good, and reliable)

Cons

Expensive subscription with limited camera coverage; value not matching competitors
Intrusive ads and buggy behavior
Regional/server restrictions and licensing issues (e.g., Germany not available; download/restoration problems)
Inconsistent accuracy and update delays, including coverage gaps and lag in catching updates

I downloaded this app to help me be more aware of approaching school zones cameras. I tested it by driving through two school zones with cameras. The app did not alert me to the school cameras. If the app maker wants to show people how well his product works, it should offer a few days of (at least!) partial functionality without having to register. Many have been the times I sign up for a limited time (all we need is your credit card info) and then find it difficult to cancel.
