Extension summary

If you’re never sure when’s the best time to use your frequent flyer miles, this is the tool you’ve been waiting for! Points Path is the first award flight search engine that runs directly in Google Flights, and provides both the cash price and points price of every flight in a search.

Using Points Path is easy. Just install the extension and then search for your trip as you normally would with Google Flights. In addition to getting Google’s regular cash results, Points Path adds the points or miles price to each flight, and then lets you know which is the better deal for each one — cash or points.

✈️ MULTIPLE FREQUENT FLYER PROGRAMS ALL AT ONCE ✈️

When two or more frequent flyer programs have availability on the same flight, Points Path lists all of them. Just click the "i" info icon under any points price to see every award that's available for that flight. Points Path also shows you which bank credit cards can transfer to each program. And if there's a transfer bonus available, Points Path will show that too.

✈️ BOOK AWARDS DIRECTLY FROM GOOGLE FLIGHTS ✈️

Once you’re ready to book a flight, click through to the normal Google Flights booking page, where you’ll find the option to book directly with the airline using your points, right next to all the usual cash options.

✈️ GLOBAL COVERAGE AND LIVE AWARD DATA ✈️

Points Path works for both one-way and roundtrip searches, and on domestic and international flights across our covered airlines and their alliance partners. All points and miles data in Points Path is retrieved live from the airlines each time you search, so it's the most up-to-date pricing info available.

Hi everyone. I'm Julian Kheel, the founder and CEO of Points Path. Unfortunately Google doesn't provide a space here for me to leave a note, so I'm resorting to leaving a temporary review to post this message. We appreciate honest reviews — both good and bad — and our team works incredibly hard to make constant improvements to Points Path. But we're frankly frustrated by people who don't reach out to us first for help before posting a negative review. If you're having a problem, we're simply asking you to please contact us at [email protected] and let us try to assist you before you post a negative review here. We read every email and respond fast, and in most cases, we can easily solve your problem by pointing you in the right direction. Or if there's an actual issue, our team will fix it quickly. We're incredibly proud of Points Path, and the fact that it's grown in just a single year to be the #5 travel extension in the Google Web Store with over 60,000 users shows just how many people find it helpful. We don't want to resort to buying positive reviews as so many other extensions do on this platform. So please, before you post a negative review, email us at [email protected] with your issue and let us try to solve it for you. Thanks!

Certainly significant privacy and security concerns. But, also, it clearly does not work correctly for Alaska Mileage Plan. I also think the explanation to another reviewer below: "If you didn't find any points prices on a particular search, it's because those airline programs currently don't have any availability. That's the fault of the airlines, not Points Path" is ridiculous. I made numerous searches with Points Path showing "not available with miles" and could easily cross check with Alaska and see that there's LOTS of availability. Not ready for prime time.

Very promising and potentially helpful, though giving access to google.com (instead of google.com/travel) and access to a localhost URL is sketchy. Would update my review to 5 stars if those two were updated (no localhost, and not requiring my full google URL tracking which includes my searches)
