Would update my review to 5 stars if those two were updated (no localhost, and not requiring my full google URL tracking which includes my searches) |

| 2024-11-29 |  | | en | After closing down my browser and taking a break from trying to figure out why there were no points showing on my flight searches, I re-opened, did a flight search and a spinning circle appeared where points are supposed to show up. The only points information I received there was: "Airline program not yet covered by points path", "could not load data", and "not available w/miles". Now I see that there is a paid version so it may be that I need to pay before this works. Not unusual for most apps. My mistake for not seeing it and realizing it before spending so much of my time trying to figure it out this afternoon. |

Google doesn't provide a way for us to communicate with users through the Web Store, so I'm posting this temporary review as a way to keep everyone updated. As of 10/23/24, we are working to solve an issue where users have to log in repeatedly. As a temporary measure, we have extended the search window out to 180 days without needing to log in. It looks like a data mining tool trying to benefit from Google Flights' popularity. In today's security sensitive world, it makes no sense to provide them your email for merely doing some searches. |

I'd love to know more about the criteria they use for these evaluations. If they expanded to include more reward programs, I'd definitely consider making a donation or purchasing a premium version. | 2024-08-28 |  | | en | Great concept. Has now become the single most annoying plug in I have. Pops up EVERY TIME that I search flight on google flights. 95% of the time I use google flights I am NOT looking for award flights. Deleting it. Just not worth the high level of annoyance. |

I'm posting this as a temporary review because Google doesn't provide any other way for us to make an announcement on the Points Path extension page. But I wanted to let you know that, after an outage last week due to changes in Google Flights, as of 8/26/24, a small handful of users are still having issues with Points Path. The reason is that Google is presenting a slightly altered version of Google Flights to a small percentage of its users (we estimate about 10% or so). This new version doesn’t change what you as a user sees from Google Flights, but it does affect Points Path, and it's the reason Points Path currently isn't working for a limited number of people. We believe we've solved the problem, and we’ve submitted an update to the extension for Google’s approval, which we hope to have in the next day or so. I'll update this message once it's live.
