GLICODE® for Chromebook&#39;&#39; is an application that allows anyone to easily learn the basic concepts of programming while having fun, just by arranging sweets according to rules.<br>Program Smile Glico&#39;s original character &quot;Hug Hug&quot; to gently hug crying or troubled children and make them smile!<br><br>[What you can learn with “GLICODE”]<br><br>By arranging the sweets<br><br>・SEQUENCE (execute in order)<br>・LOOP (repeat)<br>・IF (by case)<br><br>You can learn the three basic ideas necessary for programming.<br><br><br>[Things to prepare]<br><br>① “GLICODE” app<br>・Download this app.<br><br>②Pocky<br>Let&#39;s prepare Pocky chocolate.<br>If you don&#39;t have Pocky, you can also play GLICODE in touch mode.<br><br>③White sheet for placing Pocky<br>・Please be sure to place Pocky on something hygienic, such as a plate or parchment paper.<br>・Pocky that is not placed on a plain white object may not be able to be read by the app.<br><br><br>[Learning steps]<br><br>① Arrange the Pocky<br>Make sure the snacks don&#39;t stick together too much.<br><br>②Import with camera<br>Try to shoot from directly above as much as possible.<br>If you have difficulty taking pictures, use touch mode.<br><br>③Run the program<br>The character Hug Hug'' moves according to Pocky's commands.

[Jugyo course also available]

With the cooperation of experts and school teachers who are familiar with programming education, we have prepared a "Jugyo Course" that can be used in classes.

●Problems are set so that you can learn the basics of programming, sequences'' and loops,'' in one or two 45-minute classes.

● There are 12 questions in total. You can freely select and use them according to the structure of your class.

●It can be used as a first step for 1st and 2nd year students to try out programming, and as an opportunity for 3rd and 4th year students to learn about "logical thinking."

●If Pocky shooting conditions are difficult, please use touch mode.
*Chromebooks may have more difficulty loading snacks than smartphones and tablets. If you feel that way, please use touch mode.

"GLICODE" was selected for the 2016 "Project to Promote Programming Education for Young People" promoted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, and held programming classes for lower grades of elementary school.

The programming material "GLICODE®" is a free app that allows you to learn through fun.

*Pocky chocolate can be used at "GLICODE". Please note that some items may not be available depending on the product lineup.

*When placing Pocky, please be sure to use food-grade materials such as plates and parchment paper for hygiene reasons.

*Please use plain white plates and parchment paper to place Pocky. If you use one with a handle, it may not be possible to read the Pocky accurately.

*When using GLICODE, please handle Pocky with due care in hygiene. After touching your Chromebook, be sure to wipe your hands with a towel to keep it clean.

*When using GLICODE, please choose a location that is not exposed to direct sunlight. Due to the influence of sunlight, shadows may be formed on Pocky, making it difficult to recognize Pocky accurately.

Please check the allergen label before enjoying GLICODE.

In GLICODE, you can use the camera to read and play with the arranged sweets.
Photo data taken with the camera is not saved on the device, nor is it sent to or collected from external servers.
