I'm sure it works for some, but not me. on BRAVE Version 1.73.97 *UPDATE* sort of... seems to trigger only on mouse click of REPLY. I use keyboard shortcuts 'r' and 'a' for reply and reply all. doesn't seem to trigger the quote delete
