What is Mine Control?

"Mine Control" is a Chrome extension that protects your computer from unwanted cryptocurrency mining. It detects sites exploiting your CPU for mining and blocks them, preventing slowdown. Its visual indicators show the extension's status and its effectiveness against individual sites. It also features blacklisting and whitelisting functionalities. Moreover, it respects user's privacy and collects no information about your browsing activity.

Check the gear icon color to learn the extension status. Gray gear means that the extension is turned off. Green gear means that the site does not mine. Red gear means that site mining is blocked. Green & red gear means that site mines but is in the white list.

После установки, закройте и откройте браузер или обновите все страницы. Самое главное, что он реально работает. Я проверил на одном сайте, при включении и выключении расширения, в Source сайта исчезает и появляется процесс ответственный за майнинг.
