User reviews

Pros
  • Removes the fbclid parameter after the page loads, which helps with visual clutter when sharing links.
  • Works for users who are mainly concerned with removing the fbclid parameter from the URLs they bookmark or share.
  • Saves time for users who frequently bookmark links from Facebook, eliminating the need to manually remove the fbclid.
Cons
  • Does not prevent tracking as the fbclid parameter is still sent to websites before removal.
  • Only removes the fbclid parameter after the page has loaded, which is seen as a privacy concern by some users.
  • Misleading name as it doesn't 'kill' the fbclid before it gets sent; it merely strips it from the displayed URL afterwards.

Should be called "clean" fbclid because the parameter gets passed, but it is immediately stripped. Does exactly what I need. Big time saver when bookmarking or sharing links.

Great extension. Sorry that some people misunderstood the usage. I bookmark links from Facebook a lot, and due to fbclid, I sometimes double bookmark the same links. Now the issue is solved using this extension.
